Ringwood Repair Cafe opening event

Ringwood’s new Repair Café is starting at Greyfriars on Saturday 27th April from 10am to 12noon. It will then be held on the second Saturday of the month, from Saturday 11th May.

Repair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). On clothes, furniture, small electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, etcetera.

Visitors bring their broken items from home. Together with volunteer specialists they start making their repairs in the Repair Café. It’s an ongoing learning process.

If you have nothing to repair, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Or maybe you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair job.

There are over 2,500 Repair Cafés worldwide, and from Saturday 27th April Ringwood will add to that number!
