SUMMARY:Ringwood Repair Cafe opening event
DESCRIPTION:Ringwood’s new Repair Café is starting at Greyfriars on Saturday 27th April from 10am to 12noon. It will then be held on the second Saturday of the month\, from Saturday 11th May. \nRepair Cafés are free meeting places and they’re all about repairing things (together). On clothes\, furniture\, small electrical appliances\, bicycles\, crockery\, appliances\, toys\, etcetera. \nVisitors bring their broken items from home. Together with volunteer specialists they start making their repairs in the Repair Café. It’s an ongoing learning process. \nIf you have nothing to repair\, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Or maybe you can lend a hand with someone else’s repair job. \nThere are over 2\,500 Repair Cafés worldwide\, and from Saturday 27th April Ringwood will add to that number!

SUMMARY:Square Foot Gardening Demonstration
DESCRIPTION:On the 27th April from 11Am – 1PM. \nThe Cycle of the seed team will be outside the Ringwood Library. \nWe will be planting up the beds to demonstrate square-foot gardening and looking for volunteers to help keep the beds growing strong. \nWe will also be talking about companion planting and how planting certain plants and veg together can help create harmonious relationships.
